Longevity Blood Test in Chiang Mai: What to Check, What It Costs, and What the Results Can (and Can’t) Tell You

A longevity check-up is not about testing everything. It is about measuring the markers that predict the common problems of later life, then acting on them. Here is what we test, why, and how to read the results sensibly.

An honest note on tumour markers

How to prepare

  • Fast for 8–12 hours before the test. Plain water is fine
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and hard exercise the day before
  • Take your usual medicines unless the doctor tells you otherwise, and bring a list
  • If you have just had a cold or fever, consider waiting a week: it can push up hs-CRP

What happens after the results

Numbers only matter if they lead to a plan. The doctor goes through each result with you, explains what is normal for your age, and agrees what to change: nutrition, sleep, exercise, follow-up testing in 3–12 months, or treatment where needed. Retesting the same markers over time is where a longevity check-up becomes really useful.
